Job Description:
The Senior Vice President of Drama Programming and Development will lead the creative strategy for FOX Entertainment. This role involves supervising the development of new scripted content from concept to series, overseeing all production aspects for new and returning shows, and managing overall creative activities including tracking, soliciting, procurement, evaluation, development, and oversight of the Network's shows.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee shows from concept to airing, including aspects like casting, directing, and music.
- Generate and implement creative notes for projects in active development and current series.
- Evaluate pitches and scripts for potential development and oversee the building of the seasonal development slate.
- Coordinate with all internal departments (casting, marketing, scheduling, research, etc.) to ensure cohesive operations.
- Create and maintain lists of writers and directors, staff high-quality talent, and analyze projects in development.
- Meet with creative talent for development opportunities and report on the status of shows in staff meetings.
